OK, time for a new one of these. What release has caught
your eye and your money?

I define "recent" as being in the last month or so...

For me: -Universal Indicator Compilation
-Artificial Intelligence 2 (bought today)
-And I almost bought the Didgeridoo
vinyl I saw in the local store. I'll get that later ;)

I don't have any of their stuff, and for good reason.

My Boards of Canada, Music Has the Right to Children vinyl
LP came in the post the other day. So that'd be my most
recent purchase. I payed too much, like $36 including
shipping, but oh well, I don't care, it's worth it--
well worth it!!

#Toejam : I wouldnt wait too long with that Digerdoo 12". It
happend so often to me that I wanted a record badly and when
I finally got the money, it was gone.

Anyway here are my last 3 Purchases

1. Lemon Jelly - Lost Horizons
2. Jazzanova - The Remixes (1997-2000)
3. DJ Shadow - Endtroducing (Had to get on Vinyl as well ;)

It's been there for 3 months already....

I figure I'll be getting in in a week or so. Besides, it's a
re-pressing apparently, so I'm not too fussed.

But you're right -- I once had been considering buying
Amorphous Androgynous's album "Tales Of Ephidrena", but when
I finally wanted it it was gone.

I haven't seen it anywhere since :-(

Yeah that the worst thing to happen for a collector IMO.
Nowadays you have all that Internet shopping so there always
a way to get stuff but 6-7 years ago I always had to order
everything in the shop and if they didnt get it I couldnt
listen to it.

Hmm, when its a repressing than that isnt special at all.
Like 2 AB4 LPs (repress)at my record store. They stand there
since the releasedate and nobody buys em.

Arrrr, indeed. It's good to see more people buying it.
Keep looking for Tales Of Ephidrina. I have two copies (UK
and US releases), but have had to order both online. I
rarely come across a copy in an actual record store, so good
luck. ;)

Best record to come out in the last week or so that I have
recieved is yellotone's -geen mayo ep on AI records. AI is
a fucking phat label. They are rumored to be the next
skam/toytronic thing for the collectors out there. Pick up
the claro intelecto - peace of mind ep and you will be sold
for sure. Definitly one of my favorite releases of the
year.

Not as good as Insignifiance and a bit
cheesy/easy-listeningy at times, but there are still some
great moments.
