Anyone know of a good, but inexpensive hardware audio
sampler (preferably digital and with 8 tracks) that would be
suitable for creating electronic music?

from what i hear this is pretty good. i think it
can do 10 samples at once. it runs a little less than 400
dollars. i'm planning on buying one myself in about a month
or so after i save up some money. one warning is i've read
that the knobs sometimes wear down or have problems. it's
probably a better idea to get it new and take extra care of
it yourself instead of buying a possible shakey used one.
also, you have to transfer the samples using a smart media
card.
