NEED HELP FAST! QUICK! EXPEDIANTLY! RAPIDLY, WITH HASTE!

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-10-29 03:01 [#00046497]

I'm having a halloween party and I am burning CDs to play
straight through. What is good music, IDM or otherwise to
play during the party? Name Artists and specific songs, I
can download most of them. I don't want things with
obtrusive drums, more backgroundish, although some drum and
bassy stuff is cool too. Some ideas I had so far are like
Aphex - Schottkey 7th path with that eerie beat.

It doesnt even have to be eerie, it doesn't have to be
anything, just make suggestions and I'll see if theyre any
good. Thanks for your help! I need to get a few CDs
together by tuesday. Anyone in NYC area who wants to come
let me know. (xanatos@nyc.rr.com)

Ophecks on 2001-10-29 03:54 [#00046509]

I want to come, but I don't live in New York. Dangit!
SAW2 would work well, wouldn't it? But I think Gwely Mernans
would do the trick. Or TREAT! HA!

wayout from a plastic bubble on 2001-10-30 04:28 [#00046961]

oh yeah, quad, i forgot scanner...lauwarm instrumentals is
rather creepy..

and creepier still is phonecia's brownout..
i listened to this one in bed a while ago and i kept
thinking something was rustling around in my room...add to
that i was thinking of scary things (like a dead body buried
in the woods near my house..but thats a different
story...)...creeped me right out...

wayout from a plastic bubble on 2001-10-30 04:31 [#00046963]

oh, and another thing that made brownout really eerie was
that there seemed to be barely audible voices whispering
throughout some of the songs...did anyone else notice
this?...maybe it wasnt the cd after all... :S
