I watched American Psycho for the first time today, weird
creepy shit.

And I saw Following for the first time also yesterday, oh my
God I loved it. In my opinion it's better than Memento.

McElhone in it.

earth-shatteringly great about it.

3/5
OR
6/10

yeah i was thinking at least 8. i've never been pumped up by
a chase seen like that before.

2 more good chase movies:
Bullitt (1968) (with Steve McQueen)
The French Connection (1971) (with Gene Hackman)

I saw Ken Park yesterday. I dunno, too much fucking dialogue
for a porn flick. Larry Clark, you´re a dirty old chap!!

It´s not a very good film, I think "Kids" and "Bully" were
good even tho there are some questionable scenes in them as
well.
In "Ken Park" Clark is doing exactly what he´s accusing
the grown ups of. And it seems like he goes out of his way
just to chock but there isn´t enough content to back up the
controversial ideas. He just comes off as an old man who
likes to watch young boys and girls undressed, which can be
sort of pathetic.

Having said all this, I´ll give it to him, it did give me a
pretty serious hard on. That hawaiian girl´s hot.

'1900'. 4 hours and 35 min version. I liked it a lot.

One of the scenes that were cut from the original was two
boys playing with each others erections. Larry Clark might
have been inspried!

Great ambiance, I thought it was much better than Amélie...

"That hawaiian girl" is Larry Clark's girlfriend. and
I think she's Malaysian.

darius: see "Delicatessen", if you haven't already. by the
same directors, same feeling for ambience, but better story.
:)

The Dangerous Lives of Alterboys

wow.. intense. This is one powerful flick. Horribly
depressing and quirkily funny at the same time.. I recommend
it.
8/10

American Psycho 9/10
Bruce Almighty 6.5/10

Shine, and while Knockaround Guys sucked, Shine was totally
awesome, one of the best movies I've seen I think...

last movie I saw in theatre was The Italian Job, which
really rocked!

Better late than never, I say.

Great movie, gonna have a hard time cracking it. Have to
watch it ten times over I think.

Just about scrapes a 3/5 purely for Milla Jovovich.

punch drunk love.

two stars out of five.

a mish mash of interesting film work, some funny ideas and
good performances dragged down by unearned emotional
payoffs, one dimensional characters and wildly implausible
scenarios.

On the other hand, I'll give it 5/5 for being completely
original filmmaking by one of the great directors to emerge
in the past few years.

I second that mr. Brusca.

I would also like to add the film deserves 6 stars for not
being afraid of inhibitions - going deeper because of this.

It was good but not great. A disapointment after T2, but
cool non the less. =)

If your going to see a movie ( or see a movie twice for that
matter) instead of T3 again go see 28 days later. That was
awesome.

really like it. The chase scene with the firetruck had to
have cost LOTS of money thought.

I haven't seen the other Terminator movies by the way.

Watched THE INDEPENDENT yesterday - with Jerry Stiller. A
decent comedy, better than most comedies that have come out
lately. Too bad the story isn't too great.
