Not bad. Considering i don't really like the original :-p But this remix sounded pretty good to me. I like the humming/buzzing sound that comes in for a short little while about halfway in the track. My favourite part of your mix. |

the beginning is kind of weak, i dont like the synth at about 0:18.. but after a while the song gets better.... its pretty good, altho i dont really like the part at about 02:30 nice tune tho, sorry if i sounded a bit negative |

"Darn it, Costanza! How can you not like "on"?" "YEAH!!!! What's the matter with you!!!!" Lol, i didn't realise people felt so strong about this track. Well first of all, the rain and thunderstorm-sounds are really cheesy. It makes me think of crappy new-age music. If he wanted to make people think about rain, he should have made the music itself so that it reminds you of the rain. To just put some background-sounds behind the music seems incredibly lame to me. The main melody is okay for a few seconds... but after that i find it becomes much too repetitive. And on top of that, i don't think the beats fit well with the rest of the music at all. The entire track sounds like it's trying to be soft and delicate... and then suddenly he throws in all these rough sounds. Screeching and pounding... the contrast is ridiculous! Like a ballet-dancer wearing combat-boots. I already dislike the first part of the song, but as soon as that beat comes in it sounds downright ugly to me. Bear in mind that this is all just my opinion. Please don't start flaming me now :-p |
