Do you feel that the words matter, or do you feel that they are just another instrument in the mix of things?
the reason why iask i because a friend of mine challenged me to write an 80s pop song. so i accepted the challenge, wrote the song... and its one of the best tracks i've written. i didn't even really sing, but it all just flows.
just thought this would make for unique conversation.

well - lyrics themself can add a lot of emotion to songs, but i dont think that they are neccessary to make songs interesting, or filled with emotion.
in the end i feel that they are just another instrument, a multi-dimensional one compared to others though.

try saying 'welcome, welcome to my theatre of dreams' over and over again, then play it to your friend and say' check this shit out, this is what I'm talking about..'
