An Englishman who spent £3,000 converting his car into a "Noddy" style motor has been given a legal warning by the company owning Noddy's "Intellectual Property Rights" to "Cease and decist" from driving or parking it in public places. Steve Cash has used his "Noddy-mobile" to raise significant sums of money for children's charities ; But ENID BLYTON LTD has threatened legal action , presumably on the basis that the local community might mistake Steve for the "Real" Noddy, a four-inch high cartoon character. Bloody good job too ;P. |
