you xltronic kids juuust might be able to appreciate this
real hip-hop thing afterall/hearing this. it doesnt really
sound like wu-tang (production-wise, though apparently it's
produced by the rza) but it sounds like wu-tang/rza doing
an old skool/electro throwback party typejoint and it sounds
reaal nice.. check this..

also.. from the soon-to-be released masta killa album.. (it
has taken quite some time, much of which probably was not
spent working on it, or even thinking about it) check
"queen".. this kind of wu-style track is what drew me to
them ten years ago and kept me intrigued up until the great
fall off of late 1998.

you'll probably like 'dj warfare' though.. check that

I think the fall off happened in 1995 and I can't even be
bothered listening to any shit they put out now.

wooooah wrong. that was unquestionably/unanimously the
beginning of what is regarded as the wu-tang golden era.
both 'only built for cuban linx' AND 'liquid swords' came
out that year (and odb's debut)... their time on top [insert
biggie line] ..err came to an end after the wu-tang forever
2xlp europe, wu-affiliate release flood, bjork and all
that.. in 1998 they dropped the 'consistency/integrity' ball
so hard they deflated it.. bobby! bobby! bobby! digi! digi!
digi! [insert appaling victoria's secret line here]

That was the end...Liquid Swords was the end of the Wu's
golden time...undoubtably they released a couple of gems all
of them the first time round. Forever was an unbeleivably
weak album...I really can't see what people found in it.

so anyway

it seems the album (No Said Date) is released in most places
now.

i always loved the masta killa bits in old wu tang tracks,
and the rza doing production seems nice and that.

anyone heard it? ? ? ?? -- the amazon reviews (cause i'm
hardcore underground like that) seem amazingly positive.

hmm -
