Uh, I havent really heard it all yet. But from what i have heard, Meltphace 6, 54 Cymru Beats and Cock/Ver 10 are pretty special. Meltphace in particular because he keeps this mysterious (sorry thats a lame word) ambience going thru it. Ill get back to ya when i heard more. To you who haven't: Give Ziggomatic v17 a chance! Once you come to terms with its structure (and i just did a few days ago), it's really quite incredible. So complex. In fact, after getting to know them, most of these so called "drill n bass" tracks on DrukQs are MUCH more interesting than the Hangable Auto Bulb EP's. They are so much more complex, in a good way. Can't speculate on their longevity yet, but it feels right now like they'll stand up to repeated listening a lot better than the HAB's. |
