Im in love!
Well not really but you know the feeling when you disscover
a new whicked artist and want to buy everything they have
released right ?

The albums "Random Activities and Broken Sunsets" and
"Thought Process Dissorder" is simply mindblowing imo.
Hes like a more musical Otto Von Schirach or Richard
Devine.
Awesome production skillz!

Mmmm I could like that a lot. Otto and Richard are fun for
short periods but you gotta be in the right mood. Too
gimmicky.

This guy OWNS Otto and Richard IMO =)

Infact i think most artists on Phthalo Recordings is pretty
damn special.

They are havening some downloads.

Very nice stuff - it has a lot more ass in its pants than
Otto and Richard. Thanks for the tip!

"The local newspaper "L.A. Weekly" is holding it's annual
music awards ceremony at the Henry Fonda Theater on June
26th, 2003. Several Phthalo artists are nominated for
awards. Phthalocyanine is nominated for "BEST NEW-GENRE/
UNCATEGORIZABLE ARTIST", Dntel is nominated for "BEST
ELECTRONIC DANCE ARTIST", and Daedelus is nominated for
"BEST DJ-MIXMEISTER". Wish us luck representing our
approaches in such a context. The full list of nominees is
found at: L.A. Weekly "

Dntel was the only one who won an award Results

i think "thought process disorder" is weighed down with
gimmicky fx that he recyles over and over. most of the
melody is thin and pushed to the sidelines. it feels like a
stlylistic dead end...

can't argue with love, though.
