Just heard him for the first time, wow.

"Love Cop" is craaaaazyy good, I think I've found a new
mainstay in my CD player with "Role Model".

He played at my college this past year. The music was
pretty goddamn awful. The only thing about his set that was
entertaining was that he drank 12 cans of Slim Fast and
vomited on stage. The vomit part was after I left,
fortunately.

role model is definitely his best. the new stuff is rubbish,
as far as im concerned. he should stick to pretty and beats,
not rapping and jackassery. havent heard the instrumentals
of the new one, so who knows?

i think his new stuff gets gets BETTER WITH EVERY RELEASE.
i like that not two of his albums sound the same at all --
each almost its own genre. and his live show is amazing.
he puts it all out on the table with everything he does,
unlike most other artists.

His live show = singing bad white-boy raps to a tape
recorder, psshh..

I haven't heard his studio recordings so maybe I shouldn't
comment

its amazing the vartiety of opinions on cexx. i say check
him out and see what you think. he does a pretty wide
variety of things, that its impossible to judge him on just
one observation.

i like his music alot. i like his live shows *TONS* (very
fun/funny). his normal rap isn't so hot imo, but its not as
bad as some people may claim.

I agree with pxoxoxpxy. Cex is one of the most interesting
and enjoyable music makers/entertainers i have ever had the
pleasure listening/watching/talking to. Cex is cooool. His
live sets are uncomfortable and ackward and intimate and
just plain fun.

Cex is more than pretty melodies and crunchy beats. He's a
kid from Baltimore (now in Oakland) with a really fucking
good knack for expressing himself. "Maryland Mansions" comes
out this fall, and i can't wait.

spoonz: calgary for warped tour, even though I despise 90%
of the bands there.... i already got my ticked (50 bux) a
long time ago, and the plans were made a month ago, I cant
NOT go to calgary.. so I guess I miss CEX. Im gonna get a
poster for the show though, cause I already saw one down
here on whyte.
