Just letting everyone know, there's going to be an instore show at listen records (124th street, 107th ave) on wednesday, july 2nd (next week), at around 7:30 or 8:00 featuring Rockets Red Glare, and Cex! they aren't hitting up edmonton at a concert venue (but they are going through calgary), so basically Kris (the owner) called them up and asked, and they said they'd play... it's likely there will be a 5 dollar cover charge at the door, but it will be all ages, as always (yay spoonz!)... if you are at all interested in Anticon, or Def Jux i urge you to come because apparently Cex has the same booking agents as most of the artists on these labels, and if edmonton shows a legitimate interest in the likes of Cex, it is more likely that our city will be considered in future bookings of some wicked acts! so come! please! i'll be there for sure... |
