Sam and Max

Murray from London on 2001-10-27 14:19 [#00046045]

I know that this has nothing to do with Aphex twin in the
slightest, but does anyone know where i can download a full
version of the Lucas arts game 'Sam and Max' for free?

Get it with day of the tentacle for only £15. Both games
are genius.

I played them both (same package deal). They're quite funny,
day of the tentacle is better IMO. Not good on replay value
though like doom2 (infinite replay value IMO). IMO

all Lucas Arts games rule (the adventure ones that is) ive
almost finished completing the monkey island series and they
are damn amazing especially number 2 and three. ive just
started Sam and Max and they all rule, but THE best one is
by far Day of the Tentacle
I mean come on, the guy who thought up this line is genius:
Hogie: "Bernard, float over here so i can punch you!"
That is genius

i heard lucasarts are creating a follow up to sam and max!
does anybody know something about it, release date &c?

Murray from London on 2001-10-28 13:15 [#00046323]

I bloody well hope so that they are making another sam and
max, i dont think Lucas Arts realize just how popular their
advennture games are, they are too busy with the shit loads
of star wars ones they bring out every other week

Full Throttle was probably my favorite (that I've played). I
also liked the "king's quest", they were fun because you had
to type the commands. Wtf does wtf mean?

Kings Quest 5 was so annoying, he kept on dying when I went
walking out in the desert or a stupid scorpion would bite my
feet, what was I supposed to do with that fish in a barrel
that I found in the town and how was I supposed to get into
the cave in the desert?

I don't think I got up to five. The first was great. I
didn't play much of the second. The third was where you were
a wizard's slave at the top of a long winding road, the
fourth was where you were the girl rosella and had to trap
the unicorn, go into the haunted house and stuff. Were you a
girl in 5? I think different people started making the games
after 4 because they got weird. Space quest was cool 2.
