yea i know.. funny thing about LFO. back when the video for "summer girls" first came on tv i, having never heard any LFO (warp) before (just the stuff mark bell did w/ bjork), i would watch the video thinking this was what LFO was like--thinking that mark bell was the musician/producer and the singers were just people he hired. so i really did have an open mind about it and thought it was pretty catchy but ultimately really shallow. then i find out a couple months later it's nothing to do with the warp LFO. the milk factory interview w/ mark bell is interesting.. he says that he couldn't stop them from using the name but everywhere it appears they have to write "Lyte Funky Ones" in parentheses. |
