5 days straight of Drukqs

Quoth from Lincoln on 2001-10-27 02:53 [#00045979]

I've been in seclusion listening to Drukqs on my home stereo
and well... I found a pattern! .... reading all of those
shit articles saying that the track list made no
purpose/point to the listener is COMPLETE bull-shit! Don't
believe what "they" say, "they" being the press.

And to all of you people reading this who do disagree with
me... on a broader subject... have you ever heard any other
album by anyone who has such a diverse range of music? I
mean the songs themselves might make no sense whatsoever,
but after listening to it... doesn't the whole album just
make you laugh? It makes me laugh to know RDJ still has a
huge amount of humor and that he doesn't give a fuck about
what you or I think... point is... the reason for putting
out this album has reached it's potential. Meanwhile, I must
now resort myself to some mushrooms and more listening.

An entire double album with a diverse range of sound? Last I
listened, the filler trax not included, there were only
three different kinds of song on drukqs.

The thing is, it doesn't sound like he really put too much
into it. I wish he had, because I really do like a lot of
his music.

in those pitiful 3 tracks... think of how many layers there
are to the song... can you name each of them? NO. Miles
Davis - Bitches Brew for example... can you name everything
that was being played in one song? Of Course... Miles, lists
all the instruments along w/who played them. So easy to
understand... Drukqs however, isn't. for fucks sake... who
knows how to pronounce it... or what it means? No one,
except for RDJ himself. Quite a strange little cunt, yes?

i don't think the complexity of the music has anything to do
with the greatness of it...the album is not my favorite, but
i can't say anything bad about it..

sometimes people yell ot there window "what the hell are you

bad for them because of there trendy pop music culture that
doesn't enhance their well being, or evolvment of their
imagination. believe me..THE SHIT ON THE RADIO IS BAD FOR
YOU!!!
