You are all right, it does get more interesting, and I have been listening to the album straight and nothing else for the last week. But there are very few songs I will really be listening to over and over years from now... I don't like sitting and thinking "oh how interesting that richard layered this second snare drum over this first one, its genius!" I want it to envelope me, and me to love it without having to overanalyze it. I love all the little quirks in all his songs, and do like to discuss them...but not to have to figure everything out and convince myself that I'm enjoying it... |
