it's actually a beck song. he and william orbit were to
collaborate and record this song, which they did, but pink
says she "stole" it from them. I don't know if the initial
version w/ beck was intended for the charlie's angles: full
throttle soundtrack and it was scrapped for pink or what.
but yeah. it's a beck song w/ pink (who has a better voice
obviously) singing it

it's credited as Pink featuring William Orbit .. probably
because it's more his song than hers

your critical appraisal is astounding - if this is the limit
of your ability to express yourself, i can predict with a
great amount of accuracy that there will be a job waiting
for you in the catering profession in the not too distant
future

she stole that song in more ways than one.
That riff is a DIRECT sample from a song called 'Fresh
Garbage' by Spirit, a weird old early 70's band. If
nobody's caught this yet, I'd love to sue her for all she's
worth. I can't stand it when people sample that much and
don't give credit. I mean, I can see a groove here and
there.. but that riff is the entire basis for the song.
William Orbit should be ashamed and Pink should be ashamed
for relying on Orbit.

I'm sure the sample was cleared and credit is given in the
linar notes

That explains a lot. I was like: Nice Instrumental but what
the fuck is Pink doing on it?
@uviol : I was sure that I knew that melody. Todays music is
one big rip-of, so who cares ??
