sequencers

i would like to try something with sequencers: have a drum
machine and a keyboard, then have a large number of
sequencers amounting to 10 or more. sequence the basic
patterns on one sequencer, such as a beat and percussive and
2-3 synth lines. that sequencer would then be hooked up to
another. you can now sequence the patterns with one
sequencer, and sequence the sequencer with the other. then
with the remaining sequencers, hook them up to all be
sequencing the previous two and each other. we would then
have sequencers sequencing each other, and through the
correct chaining, sequencers sequencing themselves. i would
like to try this as you could create very complex patterns
and rhythms along with sequences. you can allow sequencers
to do their own sequencing without your aid.

Hm, sounds real interesting...
I haven't heard of anyone doing something like that, but
that doesn't mean it hasn't been tried...

I'm not even totally sure that it would work, but, if you
have the cash go for it! hehe

Why don't you just record a skeleton having a wank in a
biscuit tin?

oliver: no, but i would like to make a song of a sprinkler,
bucket, and a stick.

i had 2 sequencers, but i have just traded one for a drum
machine. i will be buying a mc-500 when i can find one
though.

What do you mean by sequencing each other? seriously..
