Still here! IN case you honestly care, things worked out pretty well with the girl I was banging on about a few weeks ago. She dumped her boyfriend, we spent every day of my last two weeks in Tokyo together, and she is thinking about moving to London (part of the year anyway) so we can be together.. Morton - good question - there are loads of really weird onomatopeic words in Japanese that are one word repeated twice (like pakupaku - for example guden guden, para para, piri piri, nama nama, shabu shabu etc..) I am not sure of exact correct translation for pakupaku - will check it and get back to you. |
