i watched this today - but was kind of occupied with the
girl that was over - so i didnt really get to watch most of
it - i saw most of hte beginning - up until where Mary left
- but then i kinda got distracted - i saw some odd bits
throughout the movie - like when the bandages are cut off
the baby (an interesting scene to see while making out to
say the least) and the final bit

i didnt really understand the point of the movie - would
someone care to enlighten me?

"so i didnt really get to watch most of
it"

why not watch it when you can donate your full attention to
it? movies turn out better that way. I have been meaning to
see this one.

i dunno - its late - and its dark - and im all alone - so
seeing a movie credited by a friend as "mad atmospheric and
scary" doesnt sounds like a great idea - i was uber-creeped
out by some of the scenes i did see

so you would recommend this one based on what you saw?

it was very creepy and disturbing - from what i did see - i
woul definately recommend it - the whole movie looked as if
to be a criticism of human nature - a look into how
grotesque our everyday lives really are - but thats just
what i gathered from some parts :D

go and see it man

It's really good.

Totally wrong movie to watch with a girl you're planning
to.. stimulate tho

i just saw this movie last week for the first time -- i have
been meaning to for a while, but just got around to it.

pretty cool to see that david lynch has had cool ideas from
the start. i liked the singing girl with the beardy looking
cheeks.

eraserhead is definitely cool. definitely my favorite of his
works, overall.

the story is pretty much masked by all of its symbolism. but
if you can figure out all of the symbolism, youll pretty
much get the story.

I didn't understand shit about that movie... They showed it
on public tv a few years ago, maybe my impressions would be
different now.

I can't really take in stuff that are this far out, it often
makes me feel uninterested, but I do remember that the movie
had a nice atmosphere and there is an underlying story that
sort of pops up now and then between the psycotic imagery...

pet peeve: when people freely admit they weren't paying
attention and then proceed to either slag off whatever they
weren't paying attention to or ask why it didn't make sense
to them.

umm, this movie definately isnt available to just "see"
anywhere(at least around here, maybe in europe), ive never
heard of a single video place that would get this movie, let
alone let it be rented out. (thats just my experience
though)

ill probably be buying the dvd really soon from
davidlynch.com though and someday get the short films dvd
too.

the short films dvd is a slight gem
it's, at the very least, ver interesting
though after seeing him play Mr. Loudmouth in Twin Peaks
it's really weird to watch him take forever to say anything
about his work before you watch it...
'the Frenchman and the Cowboy' is prolly my favorite short-
which is his more humourous contemporary style - though 'the
Grandmother' was pretty tripped out... just like all of it!

sea so...
