okies did a search couldn't find a topic about

samples that blew my SOCKS off (i still can't find them)
- Period
- Made For Market
- Sociopath

they were each so darkly awesome i can't begin to tell ya!!

I've heard January and Made for Market. Quite good.
Icelandic artist if I'm not mistaken.

Albertobalsalm sorted me out with more icelandic IDM stuff.
He's your source for ampop!

i knew the iceland connection.....and i saw sparse comments
here and there in past threads.

Damn Iceland must inspire a lot of folks to make AWESOME
music......sheeesh
Bjork, MUM, Sigur Ros, and Ampop.....i MUST got there and
make more discoveries!!!

i wonder how Kaimo's enjoying iceland! i hope he's getting
inspired!

oh yeah, and there are many more! Biogen, Krilli, Ruxpin,
Trabant...

Download the compilation album "42 More things to do in zero
gravity" by icelandic record label Thule Records.

Bjork, MUM, Sigur Ros?

gus...probably tons more

I'm uploading their two albums for you, both 'Nature is not
a Virgin' and 'Made for Market' to my ISP webspace. I'll
give you a link when finished. 'Made for Market' (2002) is
my personal favourite. The only music video they've put out
is 'Sociopath',just go to the link below and select
pictures>>video clips to see it

yeah, i remember someone starting a thread about them a long
time ago.. very nice indeed

tolstoyed: of those three, i'd say they're closest to sigur
ros, though slightly more electronic.

iceland is definitely high on the list of places i'd like to
visit before i die.
