I bought Autechre's Peel Sessions II and I love it. It's
the only Autechre I own, what would be a good full album for
me to check out?

Peel Session 2 is great. Start with Tri-Repetae believe me.
then start at the beginning and go forward. that worked
for me and i love every minute of it,. :)

at Chiastic slide it starts to get least accessible, but the

You're the same as me, Amnesiac.

I started off with Peel Sessions 2, then I bought Chiastic
Slide on a whim. It turned out to be quite good. I plan to
buy Tri Repeatae next...

Funny, Amber and Incunubula don't interest me much.

Though this is only judgement of online samples.

Sounds like LP5 would be your album. Maybe even ep7 (not
TECHNICALLY an album, but...). I would add Confield, but
that can be a tough nut to crack (not to mention listening
to that nut crack ;) ).

somebody on here gave a great suggestion -- start with tri
repetae! then, if you like more melodies, go back in time,
if you like more abstraction, go forward.

tri repetae sucks... but you can't go wrong with Incunabula
or Amber... both are very nice, yet a lot more accessible
and "simple" then their newer stuff... Amber is their best
though imo...

I don't think you should be hesitant to buy Confield either,
as some people seem to be when they start out with
Autechre... I was... but when I listened to it, it wasn't
that difficult... maybe that was because I had been
listening to them for a while at that point, but still!
