Marsupial Groove

Feel free to carry the topic in interesting directions...

marsupials are almost as cool as
monotremes, the most primative mammals of the subclass
prototheria remarkable for their egg-laying.

yeah but a platypus looks like the bastard child of a duck
and a beaver, my two favorite animals.

As soon as I get a freaking real piano I won't have to rely
on MIDI... blah...

Very nice piano playing - love the syncopation - I'm always
glad to hear some live playing over IDMish complex beats.

What are you using for your piano sound? It's fairly decent.

jazzy. this is awesome. sounds like something i'd listen to
on a lazy summer day in my car. your piano skills are
phoenomenal. very impressive. see...and this is what gets to
me. one of those things i hold against my father. all during
my youth the man forced me to do all kinds of things i
really had no desire to do (mostly sports related). and i
distinctly recall him wanting to force me to take piano
lessons. naturally, i protested and really didn't want to.
and of all the stupid stuff he made me do as a kid, this is
the one he never followed through with. makes me angry
because now i really WANT to have that talent. so yeah...for
the last few years i've been meaning to find a decent
teacher. yes, i could teach myself...i even tried for about
six months. just didn't get very far as i'm not a terribly
self-motivated person. heh. i need someone breathing down my
neck the whole time, as much as i really hate that.

anyways...yes. back to the topic at hand...that was a
fantastic track. keep 'em comin'! they're motivational /
inspirational for me. =]

It's strange... my parents tried to make me stop playing
piano by forcing me to pay for my own lessons, etc. It was
about that time I decided, since it was by my own accord,
and on my own terms, that I actually enjoyed playing the
piano... I really wish I had kept it up longer than I did,
gonna be hell getting back up to speed when I finally do.

I shall do just that! More tracks on their way... one after
another... plug plug plug
