heavent heard much bola, looking to get into them. heard 2
different types of stuff by them/him/whatever: kinda
incunabula-ish stripped down idm stuff, and something more
post-rock oriented with guitars or something. i liked the
guitar stuff. anyone know what that was? recommend to me,
please.

thats for shure! he pops a few before killing the girls
family.......great actor.....

you'll be glad to hear I still have quite a supply of Norman
Stansfield avatars for your enjoyment.

thats exactly the scene!!!! i love it!! that was quick by
the way...did you watch nil by mouth? the film he directed?

I can flip Stansfield-pics as if they're revolvers from
holsters..

anyway.. he is incredible in Léon.

I haven't seen Nil by moyth yet. that's with Kathy Burke,
isn't it? she's good too.

It's better than incunabula - more emotion, more depth, more
staying power. I've been wanting this for a long time to
replace my shitty mp3 pirate copy, yarr.

I think I like Soup better than Fyuti, actually.

so can anyone tell me what the more raw sounding stuff was
by bola?

was that fyuti? i imagine it was something more recent, it
just felt that way.

I think neither Soup or Fyuti are raw in any way. Both very
melodic and mellow sounding. You should really check them
out both. Great great stuff. Easily one of my all time fave
IDM artists.

hmmmm thats odd. wine played something by bola on his one
radio show that sounded real raw and had some guitar in it i
think. very strange, sounded kinda like hrvatski.

It could be Bola, I only know Soup and Fyuti...and some
tracks he made under the Jello alias. Perhaps the tracks you
mentioned are from an older EP of his. I can't remember the
tracks from those.

Bola discography here

Bola always sounds kind of clinical, very meticulous and
clean (especially fyuti).

he is very good though.

as is Soup.

Hi.. just one question about this re-release... Does it come
in some sort of digipack or any other special packaging ?

Nope. Standard jewel case, but new artwork, and the whole
album has been remastered (though it is quite difficult to
spot any real difference).
