Can anyone tell me the name of a film that was released recently. It was a two part thing were time-lapse photography is used to show how the earth changed through civilization. I think George Lucas produced one of the features. Also the films had asian sounding names. thanks

Oh, I desperetly want to see those. The new (?) one is showing here at the moment. It seems as if it is about war. Lots of trippy images of Hitler, bin Laden, pills, roulette wheels. Music from Phillip Glass and Yo Yo Ma (spelling?)

koyaanisqatsi kicks all kinds of ass. p-qatsi wasn't as good but still watchable. i want to see noyaanisqatsi (i think thats what its called) but i hear it's all stock footage so it might not be as good.

All Melbourians take notice!!!
THE FINAL CHAPTER
Godfrey Reggio's cinematic vision of life reaches its conclusion with Naqoyqatsi
First it was "Life Out Of Balance" (Koyaanisqatsi), then "Life In Transformation" (Powaqqatsi). Now it's "Life As War" ...
Naqoyqatsi, the final chapter of the trilogy, is screening at The Astor Theatre for a two-week season from Sunday, June 15, to Saturday, June 28.
The first two films, Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi, will be shown again as a double feature later.
