so anyways, my former friend rich (his name isn't rich, but rich can be abbreviated to dick, and he's a huge dick) got pissed off over some stupid thing and blocked me off aim so i sent him an email telling him i was sorry, he didn't recognize my email address and inquired as to who, what, and why i was sorry- so i responded to it honestly, or as honestly as i could seeing as i still don't know what i did to piss him off after this he responds to tell me there's a reason he blocked me on aim, he didn't specify what it was but it must have been big for him to have ended the communication telling me never to contact him again- so i responded w/ a message w/ just the subject filled in w/ 'just as you say' that was supposed to be the end instead he responded to THAT even more vindictively with some crap about how i couldn't be trusted, 'cause i'd tell everyone his supersecret moron-identity or whatever, anyways he went on to tell me he blocked me off of his email now so i responded to that in a wrather pissed off email about how, if he didn't want to talk to me he could stop responding to my emails, not to mention a couple segues about boybands and gay sex (which i feel are appropriate in regards to the way i've been treated by rich) he resonded to this with one email about reporting me to my isp, it might have said more than that, i could care less, i deleted it along with the 42 other emails i got all of them verifications for forms i'd apparently filled out on the internet in my sleep last night now with the hard evidence i've collected it would seem like a good idea to go to HIS isp- but i'm not an asshole, even when dealing with one... or i try not to be anyways, based on what i've said here... who's the dick? did i err? am i at fault? i'd really like someones oppinion 'cause i've always felt that if you break up with someone, they get the last word in that's the whole concept- one person makes the choice, the other picks the last words- one picks sides the other |

A lot depends on what you actuallly did. Do you have any idea at all? That would be a good first step. I'm not sure how boy bands and gay sex was appropriate but if you flung some insults at each other in the heat of the moment than that is what it is. I see no reason to go to his isp or pursue it any further unless you see him commiting further acts of spite or revenge and it becomes an issue. I don't know how important reconciliation is to either of you, but let time pass if it is. What would Jesus do? Jesus would turn the other cheek rather than participate in a fight that wasn't really worth it, but at the same time He would be bold and stand up for truth regardless of the consequences. Jesus used every situation or opportunity as a way of bringing others to the knowledge and growth in the truth. Jesus did not, however, entertain petty games that had no real worth for either anyone involved. |

I am having problems with rich too... He sees things in a conversation that aren't really there and accuses me of being a twat while I'm trying to find out what really happened. He tears things out of context. I never block people. I think it's quite a shitty thing to do... Leaving a person no chances to say a word in return. And as for rich, I think he just has to get over his paranoia and start trusting people if he wants them to trust him in return. He is a good man. But he has monster issues :( |
