are you going on holiday this summer? if so.. what country/place will you go to? i'm going to Italy, i'll visit Rome and Venice for sure, if there's time (and money) left we'll go to Florence or Milan too.. i've never been in italy, i'll buy the pope a beer :D |

I had a couple of my friends just visit Rome, Naples and Sardinia. They had a most marvellous time. The weather was most excellent...or so they said. Hope you have a nice trip. |

just had a week in barcelona, culminating with the sonar festival it was fantastic break but not at all relaxing. going to cape town later in the year for 2 weeks. morton - rome is ace you'll love it. |

Ok, Piazza Navona- A BEAUTIFUL piazza with wonderful sculptures/fountains. Its a great place. In the area, there is also bars etc. Campo Di Fiori- Another piazza. Smaller, but with a higher concentration of pubs! Piazza Di Popolo- A nice open area. 3 streets run into it. The on in the middle, is called Via Del Corso. Not many pubs... but lots of stores. Its kind of like the shopping street. Trestevere- This is an area of Rome. Its WONDERFUL. Probably one of my favorite areas. Its beautiful, and you will find something to do around every corner. these were all my major hang out areas in highschool. I hope they do you well! But also, just explore! Its an amazing city! Just stay clear of the "EUR" section of rome at night... it can be kind of shaddy. And nothing really fun to do. Enjoy man! and if there is anything else you want to know, feel free to ask! |
