Where are these two bonus tracks I am hearing about? Hankie
and Stone in Focus, I believe are theyre names. Anyways, can
someone help me find these tracks on my beloved SaW2 cd?

they arent really bonus tracks,
they are songs that got cut from the US release.
Hankie is probably the most disturbing aphex track ever.

Most disturbing?...I gotta hear that one...I've heard stone
in focus...i love that one...Its a shame it got cut...Why
the hell can't they release the same cd everywhere...

SAW v2 sold so badly in the US that Sire put a red flag on
any ambient album after that. Sire didn't support its
release in the US, unlike Warp in the UK, and actually ALL
of the tracks are only on the discontinued UK Vinyl. The UK
cd has Stone in Focus but not Hankie. Hankie is like a
cursed song it's so creepy :).

Thanks for the link Phobia, I still find that stuff
fascinating. The qualities of the pictures is interesting as
well. The way the curtains look, all thick and velvety
creating a dark spooky room makes me think they are haunted
or something. The close up pictures are very cool too and
remind me of those close up picture puzzles they used to do
in "Boys Life" or one of those kid magazines that I read
growing up as a kid. They show you a really close up
picture of a paperclip that makes it look like a spaceship.
I think this is some sort of statement on perspective and
impressionism, great stuff.

That is some very cool stuff! I never knew the white picture
was the missing Stone in Focus picture. Also you can see
the groupings of songs by which ones are touching each
circle in the background behind the pictures. I like the UK
pictures better, more minimal and I wonder what the
explanation for switching the pictures here was? It's like
they had to dumb it down for us Americans, cutting out the
more sophisticated and long tracks and making the pictures
more explicit so us dumb Americans won't become perplexed
:). cool stuff.
