DblHeLX from the ground, somewhere on 2001-10-25 03:50 [#00045215]

oooh!.
is requiem for a dream a good sound track??
i see it everywhere and always chicken out right before i
buy it. i like pop will eat itself and clint mansell; the pi
soundtrack was amazing, would i like requiem, you think??

Aron? from Canada on 2001-10-25 03:56 [#00045216]

Well it's ok, but alot of the songs are almost exactly the
same, like Clint will use the same samples in alot of the
songs.

if i had to like rate it out of 10, i'd give it a 4.

bah, that's just my opinion though, perhaps you would like
it more.

The DJ Cam one is really good though, nice jazzy downtempo
beats and mello hip-hop.

byebye

DbLhElX. Don't you think FSOL's Dead Cities is such a nice
album, personally I think is an awesome one....So.really
hope this info helps...Also, from Aphex Twin, think you
should get Hangable Auto-Bulb 1 is such an excellent record.
Later I could recomend this friend other albums.......

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-25 05:00 [#00045224]

oh HELLS yea, dead cities is great.
the singles for it are amazing as well.
if you can, find the singles, my kingdom and we have
explosive.
those two add much to the dead cities experience.
what i like most about fsol singles is that they pretty much
make a 30-40 minute mix of the song and split it into
sections.
a very orriginal strategy.

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-25 05:02 [#00045225]

can you actually find HAB1&2 on cd?
???i dont think so but ill ask anyway.

Vampire Angel from San Juan,Puerto Rico on 2001-10-25 05:23 [#00045227]

DbLhElX. No, no way of finding originals on HAB 1&2, They
were made only on vinyls the copies runing on cd are just
cd-r copies made from the orininal records my friend. I have
the original HAB 1 on record, a hell of a fucking excellent
recording. See the bad thing about the HAB 2 is that
immediately it was released just 100 copies pressed, they
were took off the shelves,so, when finding one it will
probably will cost you anywere from 70 to $80 us dollars for
an original record containing just 2 songs, real
shame....But for real AFX collectors that is
priceless...........

peekin' jesus on 2001-10-25 05:48 [#00045232]

Skinny Puppy are grand...I think the Requiem soundtrack is
alright...its good background music...a little repetitive
though...

Ross on 2001-10-25 05:55 [#00045236]

aron, give the score some time...i thought it was a bit
samey at first, but now i love it..use it as background
music for awhile maybe, while doing work..it's a lot better
i find

Mutant Death Pengwin from Medicine Hat on 2001-10-25 06:27 [#00045239]

listen to Quake on your cd player, it is fucking wicked
ambient, i think track 2 is cool and there is a pretty
creepy track that has lots of whispering... anyways this
post has nothing to do with the topic but i thought i should
post anyways, i am really stoned.
oh yeah, the Half-Life disc has cool ambient too and some
really good jungle.

Baron Von Picklefoot from My special place ! on 2001-10-25 06:35 [#00045242]

Buy some Baron Von Picklefoot And The Argyle Washing
Machine!!!!!!THE BARON HAS SPOKEN!P.S. I'M ON TWO LEFT SHOE
