the end always feels good... the home stretch... plus it's sunny... and people are all in a good mood... and teachers hardly seem to care...

wow, i graduated from highschool 9 years ago. you make me feel old.
Looking back, the summer after i graduated highschool was one of the best of my life. I went on a lot of great extended hikes. I dropped an unholy amount of LSD with no ill effects or bad trips. I got laid on a regular basis. after that, it's all pretty much down hill.

I loved high school... especially grade 12... skipped class a load, and went to movies in the afternoons... played on the senior basket-ball team (you'd think that'd make me popular, but it didn't}, and just had a blast... grad was real fun...
I miss high school...

The end fucking sucked as much as the rest of fucking highschool. I should've gotten on an early graduation program starting in junior high. What a fucking waste of my life. At least I got enough AP credit to almost start out as a sophomore in college. The goddamn public education system caters to the stupid people, who shouldn't be allowed in secondary education if they aren't ever going to acheive 3rd grade reading skills. Take straight from elementary to internships and factory training programs, put them to work. ARRRRRRRG

college is fun... but damn I do miss high school... now I get so stressed about school work and my future and everything... I used to get stressed in high school about the work and all, but that was NOTHING compared to now!!! If only I could go back to high school with the knowledge I have now, it'd be so fun... the great thing about high school is the lack of stress I guess... once you leave high school, yes you have more freedom, but with that comes more stress...

mappatazee: i get your point. yes, i hated high school too. my dad recently took a carreer change to be a high school teacher. god, i feel bad for him (sometimes). i couldn't understand why he wanted to go to h.s., and he couldn't understand my point. now he does. he sees how retarted those little asses act.
and it's not just high school. these stupid little crap heads (middle schoolers) always hangout infront of the library i work at, cursing & shit at the patrons. it's like they have no common sense. i guess they're just looking for attention. i feel like such an old person now. sorry about this. ^

there is a lot more work in college then high school... at least for me... I didn't do anything in high school, and still got good marks... was stressed a bit yes, but it didn't compare... now if I slack off one night, I feel like I'm screwed for the semester...

thanks guys.... yeah i sure hated highschool..... i just got worse and worse till the end! im glad its over
i struggled a lot w/ work this year, (thanks to some oustanding psychological circumstances lol) so i have to take one more course next fall (a nightschool course, twice a week) to bring my marks up so i can go to University of Toronto, i think i want to go into a program called Cognitive Science, and not many universities carry it
yeah highschool is designed around stupid, stupid people... it can be really frustrating even though the work itself isn't challenging
socially it was really hard too..

i finished high school 2 weeks ago, and i'm very glad i did.
high school got crappier as my senior year progressed. i'm sure opportunities in college/uni are far greater.

i finished high school about a week and a half ago myself. i barely graduated because of my attendance...most weeks i missed two periods of every class! i am lucky not to have gotten a truancy ticket through the whole ordeal. i got on well with a few teachers, most i was indifferent to, and atleast two felt i had an attitude problem. the only classes i liked were prose lit, orchestra, art, and yearbook (the first year i was involved anyhow). i can't say it was very challenging, for which i am thankful because i would rather be daydreaming anyhow.
