i don't like coldplay either but a lot of people i am
friends with/like/respect enjoy their music so i'm glad it
gets played on the radio for their sake.

radiohead - there there, i might be wrong (for some reason
the radio station i listen to plays it ALL THE TIME)
coldplay - the scientist, trouble, clocks
deftones - minerva, my own summer, change (in the house of
flies)[although it is sometimes overplayed], back to
school(mini maggit)
tool - sober, aenima, schism, ticks and leeches
mudvayne - not falling, death blooms, dig, .....
thats about it...

I think the track would have been better without the jigga
man , i like him but he was crapp on this one.
Beyonce is amazing tho , someday we will get married.
whats the video like ?

beyonce dances like a ho in booty shorts and a low cut
shirt.. jay-z ("young!") raps in front of a car he lights on
fire

some jay-z guest appearences are great tho.. like on beanie
sigel's "still got love for you"

blah, I hate Sean Paul so much... I also think 50 Cent is
annoying as hell, and so are the Queens of the Stone Age...

it's really nice to see Radiohead have the #1 single... at
least in Canada... Coldplay is always nice to hear on the
radio... and well, me being a huge fan of 80's music, it's
always nice to turn on a classic rock station and listen to
some good 80's pop songs!

I don't listen to radio either. not out of snobbery - I just
don't, really. I have huge amounts of cd's still to listen
to.

please don't rip my throat out.

and I do think Sean Paul is formulaic and he has an
irritating voice. but that's just my stinkin' opinion. :P

maybe the oldies station, except for the commercials which
are torturous memes. And some of the songs which are also
tortorous memes.

COLDPLAY rewlzzzzzz =0)

call them a guilty pleasure, call them what you will, but i
like EM!

i used to listen to 'talk radio' a lot, on the way to work,
etc.....like Jim Rome, Rush Limbagh......ahhahaha

i do enjoy funny jokey shows when i have to work in the
morning, they are just hilarious during the morning commute!

Timbaland And Magoo f/ Missy Elliott - Cop That

ugh cold play

there was this interview on mtv2 with radiohead and some one
asked what they thought about bands like cold play and
travis who're making a carreer out of being early radiohead

Thom:"GOOD LUCK WITH KID A!"

i'm digging the streets, but not that "don't mug yourself"
song, i think thats the one on the radio

and i dig mystikal and ludacris, ludacris probably has
something on the radio right now from 2fast 2 furious... i
dunno about mystikal.

"ACT A FOOL!" (ludacris) another great current radio

i think ludacris is really clever, i dig the kindergarden
cop reference he makes in that missy song

and mystikal, it's like "OH MAN THIS BLACK MAN IS YELLING AT
ME AND I LIKE IT"

How can you listen to all this mainstream-rap-shit && to IDM
at the same time?? It seems to me like you no knowledge
about music at all. Sean Paul not formulaic?? C´mon he rips
of 20 years of Dancehall music and spices that up with some
BlingBling text.
You are listening exactly to what the industry want you to.
Shame on you.

Errr, variety is the spice of life. And I know titsworth
listens to whatever he wants, just like I do. Most of us on
here should be above being brainwashed by marketing by
now...

I can't remember the last good track I heard on the radio/tv
- I don't listen that often but I'm no snob, I love pop
music.

'There There' is fucking hideous. What a piece of shit.

I seem to like Shania Twain, maybe there is something wrong
with me...

I'll check that out, I liked the dandies first 2 albums.

I mainly listen to the radio on the drive home from work,
but that tends to be older stuff.

Favourite current radio stuff is Tomkraft - Loneliness and
the new Beyonce Track (even if the two hooks are ripped from
other tracks), just a shame they don't play the
instrumental, her voice ruins it.

The Ataris - Boys Of Summer (Don Henley cover)

fun song! the original was great but this paint-by-numbers
indie/emo/crap band made it even catchier. gotta love these
fake bands, they sure don't mind covering someone else's
song for a surefire hit!

well, i've been lucky enough to avoid extended listening to
the radio lately..

i saw that talib kweli track on mtv2 a little bit ago, and
its not bad

the two newer coldplay songs ive been hearing bits of sound
nice..coldplay are weird.. i always seem to like their
tracks when they first start getting played, and then get
sick of them shortly after hearing them constantly..

the muzak machine at work doesnt play as much new stuff as
it used to, lots of 70's disco and 80's-90's pop though

i remember hearing a cover song by a girl doing a track from
the 80's originally by a guy.. that wasnt too bad...i forget
the name of that though..well i never actually knew it i
guess

"..also that Beyonce song w/ Jay-Z is

No comment necessary. The Industry caught you.
I dont care about a real music taste or anything but I cant
stand your snobby behaviour to other people while its
obvious that you have no clue of what is a commercial rip of
and what not.

[Intro - Beyonce:]
You ready?
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no

[Intro - Jay-Z]
Yea, history in the making,
Part 2, it's so crazy right now

[Verse 1 - Beyonce]
I look and stare so deep in your eyes,
I touch on you more and more every time,
When you leave I'm begging you not to go,
Call your name two or three times in a row,
Such a funny thing for me to try to explain,
How I'm feeling and my pride is the one to blame.
'Cuz I know I don't understand,
Just how your love your doing no one else can.

[Chorus - Beyonce]
Got me looking so crazy right now, your love's
Got me looking so crazy right now (in love)
Got me looking so crazy right now, your touch
Got me looking so crazy right now (your touch)
Got me hoping you'll page me right now, your kiss
Got me hoping you'll save me right now
Looking so crazy in love's,
Got me looking, got me looking so crazy in love.

Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no

[Verse 2 - Beyonce]
When I talk to my friends so quietly,
Who he think he is? Look at what you did to me,
Tennis shoes, don't even need to buy a new dress,
If you ain't there ain't nobody else to impress,
The way that you know what I thought I knew,
It's the beat my heart skips when I'm with you....

man great song.

Here we go. I hope Jay Z makes some proper tunes in future
but he just took too much coke and weed me thinks...

[Verse 3 - Jay-Z (Beyonce)]
Check it, let's go
Young Hov y'all know when the flow is loco,
Young B and the R-O-C, uh oh, (oh)
Ol' G, big homie, the one and only,
Stick bony, but the pocket is fat like Tony, Soprano, (oh
no)
The ROC handle like Van Axel,
I shake phoneys man, You can't get next to,
The genuine article I go I do not sing though,
I sling though, If anything I bling yo,

a star like Ringo, roll like ???
Crazy bring ya whole set,
Jay Z in the range, crazy and deranged,
They can't figure them out they like hey is he insane, (oh
no)
Yes sir I'm cut from a different cloth,
My texture is the best fur, of chinchilla.
(Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no)
Been dealing with chain smokers,
But how you think I got the name Hova?
(Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no)
I been realer the game's over,
(Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no)
Fall back young, ever since the label changed over
(Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no)
to platinum the game's been wrap, One!

[Bridge - Beyonce]
Got me looking, so crazy, my baby
I'm not myself, lately I'm foolish, I don't do this,
I've been playing myself, baby I don't care
'Cuz your love's got the best of me,
And baby you're making a fool of me,
You got me sprung and I don't care who sees,
'Cuz baby you got me, you got me, so crazy baby
HEY!

[Chorus - Beyonce]
Got me looking so crazy right now, your love's (oh love)
Got me looking so crazy right now (lookin' crazy)
Got me looking so crazy right now, your touch
Got me looking so crazy right now
Got me hoping you'll page me right now, your kiss (baby)
Got me hoping you'll save me right now (baby)
Looking so crazy in love's, (whoa!)
Got me looking, got me looking so crazy in love. (whoa!)

I sold it all from crack to o-pium, in third person
I don't wanna see em, so I'm rehearsin
with my peoples high to GM, from a remote lo-cation
in the BM, scopin the whole situation like, "Dayamm!"
Metamorphic, as the dope turns to cre-am
but one of these buyers got eyes like a Korean
It's difficult to read em, the windows to his soul
are half closed, I put the key in
Pulled off slow, hopin my people flee-in
Chink tried to knock the only link that tied me in
Coppers was watchin us through nighttime binoculars
This time they got us on tape, exchangin dope for dollars
Make me wanna, holler back at the crib in the sauna
Prayin my people bailed out like Time/Warner
Awaitin call, from his kin not the coroner
Phone in my hand, nervous confined to a corner
Beads of sweat second thoughts on my mind
How can I ease the stress and learn to live with these
regrets
This time... stress... givin this shit up... fuck

that one roc s

the new white stripes song is slowly growing on me. i'm
starting to rock out in the car. see, radio gets you cos
when your tape deck is busted and you can't play cd's, and
the college radio station is out of range, you need
something to listen to. it'll elevate a decent song into
great status cos you come to depend on it.
