Awesome, I saw a beautiful ad in the ''Maritime Merchant''
for an Xbox with 4 games for just 250 bucks. I don't even
know what games... it doesn't matter. Halo, I hope...

So now I'll need some games to supply myself with. What are
some nice Xbox games other than Halo/Splinter Cell that I
should get my hands on? I've ignored the Xbox up till now
because of how expensive it is, so I'm not educated in its
game library. But this deal is attractive so I'll bite.

i like munch's oddysee or whatever - but xboxes are only
really worth getting if you get them chipped, otherwise they
are a bit of a waste

Awesome, I was talkig to the guy and one of the games is
Halo and the other is Bloodwake... but what the hell is
that, never heard of it. Dunno the other two, it's his son's
and he isn't there.

And thanks for the suggestions, I'll check out Jet Set.

i saw the halo 2 commercial. time to get me one of these
bulky pieces of gaming. anyway, when fable comes out, i'll
kick myself for not owning an xbox.
atleast i'll have all the bases covered in terms of systems
once i buy one.

I can't stand Jet Set Radio Future. Nevermind that my little
brother always kicks my ass in it. It's just a stupid game!

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is good, though. Different
fighting styles and even weapons. It's sweet. It's available
on the GC and PS2, as well.

I sold mine with 4 pads, 3 games, memory card & remote for
£150 about a month ago.....I miss it but prefer the games
on ps2, used to have Timesplitters2 (fuckin amazing for the
multi player death match mode, 4 players plus up to 8 AI
opponents & a wealth of zany options & weapons, hours of
fun),

Halo (the enemys are cartoon-like alien critters which
doesn't make the experience as tense as it could have been
but it's a good game although theres no AI option in death
match which sucks),

Max pain is a great game but enter the matrix is better(get
this game!!!)........Hitman is boring as shite & oddworld is
dros..........well thats I reckon anyway ;p

Yes, Hitman 2 was bad. Dead To Rights was good though.

enter the matrix? mmm.. that game seemed a tad average to me
but hey.

halo is real pretty - like the scenery and stuff.. dead or
alive is quite a fun game

Now I'm a triple threat- Xbox, Gamecube, PS2. I picked the
Box up tonight and just got past the second Halo Campaign
Mission.

Halo is incredible, although I agree the aliens aren't
fearsome AT ALL. A great sense of exploration though,
massive world with huge dimensions... gorgeous. That'll keep
me busy. One of my fucking controllers has a messed up stick
though, argh. And the whole thing smells like cigarettes or
pot or something.

I have to get Splinter Cell ASAP.

I played Dead to Rights for the Cube... I heard the Box
version is better. Seemed to me like a poor man's Max
Payne... and it has me jonesing for a new Syphon Filter
game! One of my favorite series' ever, but no next gen
action on the Syphon front yet... God willing, Gabe and his
silly running animation will get a facelift soon.

Ah the Canadian Dollar, the one thing Americans can count on
being weaker than the U.S. Dollar. (I mean, besides every
variation of peso)
