Hi!

There's three mp3-compilations coming out from our label and
we are currently looking more artists for them.

"easy" album - soft electronica, chill-out with few twisted,
"experimental" hooks.

artists like : Boards of Canada meets Philip Glass ? :=)

difficult album - experimental, music concrete (?),
abstract, noise

artists like : Karl-Heinz Stockhausen, Merzbow, Pan Sonic...
and so on.

space album - dark/spacey ambient, minimalistic "lofi
techno", improvisation.

artists like : ?

all compilations focus on different styles, so if your music
is even just little bit to experimental or any other
described above...

submit link and bio to our demo-forum :

http://demo.luumurecordings.com

thanks.

- jukkis -

ps. no idm / AFX&Autechre-clones.. thanks. ;)

heh. :D

first I thought WTF... then I noticed you're Finnish.

better post link to older stuff first.

and I suggest to do it via Luumu-site, because I've informed
about this compilation on many different locations and can't
keep track of URL's submitted to original threads (I could
have bookmarked them of course...)

what do artists get for submitting their tracks?and what and
where will this be released?

you don't submit your track, just link to couple mp3's =
on-line demo (~ save postage costs, unless I really want to
hear full demo).

there will be released atleast 3 mp3- compilations focused
on new/fresh (un-signed) electronic music artists.

main focus is on experimental electronics, since Luumu is
focusing into it... but on one compilation there will be
also melodic electronica etc.

WHAT artists get... artists get exposure and they will be
famous ? dunno. :=)

they don't get money... releasing experimental music isn't
big business, atleast not for us, we can hardly afford
releasing our first cd (Cytrus - iD Nemo)...

Luumu Recordings is not releasing anything without getting
confirmed approvement by the artist and Luumu is probably
not releasing much any of these submitted tracks, because we
usually focus on releasing previously un-released material,
if possible...

the releases come out 7/2003 (hopefully)... I've currently
60-70% of the roster ready.

so... there's still some room left for to join or submit
demo. ;)

hey Ihokas, i tried to register at Luumu but the site didn`t
seem to werk=[ I would be interested in submitting music. I
have put stuff out on Utrophia records and Soulseekrecords,

I have much material, however if you are interested check
(http://utrophia.net/phase%20transition.mp3) for a dark
ambient/ 50's ish electronic piece i did. I think it might
be up your street.
