I would like to get into Mogwai. What album/song should i
get first?

i think you should get the new one. it promises to be really
good.
they've started to get really melodic.
Other than that, you can pick up "Rock Action" or "Young
Team".
"Ep+2" is a blinder also.

Cheers WeaklingChild. Do you know any Richard Devine that i
couldstart off with as well?

Unfortunately no, but i did meet Richard Devine once. Really
nice guy. Signed my Warp Poster and wrote "DSP is the god"
accompanied by a hand doing that devil's horns thing.
Nice bloke.... :)

Sweet, i'm probably gonna start with Lip Switch and see how
i go from there.

Thanks for the Mogwai news :)

ep+2 is the only one i like beginning to end, with no
"filler"

maybe thats just me

"Young Team" is my all time favourite.
I wouldnt say it has any filler on it.
I think the new one promises to surpass them all.

Has anyone heard the tune "close encounters"?
it was an extra from "Rock Action" that they didnt use. they
put it on the japanese version of the album.
Its great!

You can download it directly form the Mogwai website.

that recording with sigur ros is FAKE, they never did it.
anyways, im not a huge fan of mogwai but there are some good
tracks off of Come on die young.

I actually find the ep+2 rather bland except for stanley
kubrick and a few others. My father my king is awesome, id
get that, im not sure about the new album though, will have
to hear it.
