aren't we lucky to have this 3...they really compete (a healthy competition) who's going to make better album
i was just listening to bilious paths and drukqs which are both perfect albums, and to add go plasitc (which was my favourite for a long time)...we couldnt ask for anything better...but im sure they'll all continue to amaze us in the future
im not even sure of what am i trying to say...it all comes down to i love electronic music i guess

they are all true pioneers in their own way. without them, electronic music as we see it and listen to it, wouldnt be the same.

They are all wankers who should be shot in the face for their now repeating trait of sub standard shite they are releasing.

bilious paths is shit, you can't compare it to drukqs. µ-ziq is so overrated. i hate the way people see him as being one of the big names in electronica, and in this case even disregard ae & boc.
imo :>

i guess so, but it has that certain mu-ziq's sound to it so it doesnt really matter...and that doesnt affect the quality of it either imo

i'm about halfway through my first proper listen of Bilious Paths... and it's decent... i've never really been a really huge Mu-Ziq fan... but this is certainly decent... and the quality of this release is definitely a product of the competition and innovation of these fellows... actually, it is quite good... can't say i like it more than drukqs... but like i said, this is the first time through...

i wouldn't say Paradinas is trying to emulate Jenkinson or James, he clearly has his own approach to the drillnbass which all three often operate in... mu ziq has always been a more happy, loose, and lively driller...

imo his drilling (since lunatic harness) didnt change as much as rdj's and jenkinson's has in drukqs and go plastic, so i really dont see why paradinas would be considered to imitate the other two
all 3 make brilliant music and thats it!

the mid-section of this album really picks up the pace... it's good to see some more viable drill for me to hear... good drill is rare!

bilious paths is µ-ziq's finest work and the best IDM album of 2003, so far

Bilious Paths is so fucking good. Get over yourself if you dont like it. I'd like to see you make something half as decent.
BTW: Drukqs ruled. Who give a fuck if RDJ didn't do it the way YOU wanted. He's making music for himself.
Wankers.

the 30 track double cd idea was someone from warps idea, not Richards.....but....the music is his ideas.

here's a review of grape nut beats (pt.1) by ralph cowling:
"there are some absolutely explosive tracks on here though. 'grape nut beats (part 1)' is so far off the scale it's difficult to relate where it left my head after listening. with super deep gabber, drill and bass, naughty little pieces of speed-synth and enough atmosphere to provide a small moon with life, it's certainly the high-point of the album"
i'd say to the point...

i'm not a huuuuge fan of mu-ziq, but some of his remix work is absolutely amazing. namely his remixes for mum.
some of his tunes are classics, though. that cant be denied.

i care because you do tango n vectif music is rotted one note
but now I must listen to last u ziq album... is it available already?
