New album by The Cinematic Orchestra.
Its a rescore to the 1929 silent film. Havnt seen the film... but this music is fucking excellent.
So lush.
Reccomended!

yeah, its amazing.. i think it may be their best yet. i have to find the film..
the tracks from 'every day' are actually originally from the score. they made the score prior to the album, but have only been playing it live along with the film.
so the versions that ended up on every day are like the more developed adaptations.

I've seen the film. Awesome work. Very symbolic. It's about a person who makes documentaries, if I remember correctly (either he, or the person who films him is the man with the moviecamera). It was made in Russia by Vertov, if I remember correctly.
It was really symbolic, and had great effects for it's time. It's a silent movie so music was all there was.
yeah watch it if you can. I'm gonna find some notes I made after watching it and correct me if I'm wrong here.
