i really enjoyed the 3pt series...unlike a few on this
board...

anyone have any thoughts as to why three parts were released
within a short time period...if there's a story/plot to the
content?

rumoured to be rich .. may as well make the most of it ..
ie. get people buy it before its out that its actually
ovuca.

that aside, i think its a magnificent series .. love astro2
... all grande stuff. really fresh things.

astrobotnia is ovuca. i read an interview recently and for
some odd reasons all his stuff have always been rumoured to
be by rich. odd?!

anyway: astrobotnia comes from 'ostrobotnia' which is some
kind of place in helsinki (i see the plaquet in a building
wall often but i have no actual idea)

also the series were made like year before putting it out.

acidophilus has to be my favorite track...very peaceful. I
play it on guitar with a drum machine backing me up, thank
god it has a simple beat.

For a time i thought it was RDJ as well. only from the
stand point that it sounds similar to his stuff, but we've
all learned otherwise. either way good stuff. i can't wait
to hear cylobotnia

now i get it. ostrobotnia is some kind of a weird name to a
'province' in finland which is 'österbotten' in swedish..
so why the hell there is a plaquet with tha tname in
building wall in helsinki

i havent heard any of the astrobotnia stuff. is it like
ovuca at all? if so, i might check it out... if not, what IS
it like? im kinda skeptical, as i heard it was ambient-ish,
and i only place my faith in certain artists as far as that
goes.

well.. he masters the rephlexy sound so that is what it is
imho. not ambienty really. not like lactavent at all but
wasted sundayish maybe.

well tibbar. it sounds similar to ovaca stuff, but of
course a little different.

Pt. 1 ~ is kinda melodic slow, but nice
Pt. 2 ~ is a lil more beat friendly
Pt. 3 ~ is a little of both

i can't really explain it, but i like it.

thats the best stuff...i checked out the site on cylobs
site...micromusic and there's some pretty cool Commador
64'ish sounding stuff over there...

its kinda crazy, we have all of this computing power now,
and the old stuff made on limited systems still sounds so
cool...weird

part 2 track 1= fuck yeah

It's all great stuff! Everyone and applause and lightworks
all shine. I think all of part 3 works well togetther as for
part 2 i usually switch it before it ends.
