Only read "the raven" and "the murders in the rue morgue"
and I've seen a play of "the fall of the house of Usher"
once.
Very nice, lack of time to read more though.

the right names in english), those were very good! also some
others, but those were my favorites.

the raven: 7
the fall of the house of usher: 8
the pit and the pendulum: 8
the murders of rue morgue: 6
the masque of red death: 10

can't say about the rest. Hark! I wonder, is that the sound
of the piss being taken I hear? Or is this genuinely a
serious topic?

The Masque of the Red Death is also a great film. Mmm Jane
Asher...

no, no... ive been re-reading alot of poe lately, and was
wondering how many also felt his work is as vivid and
brilliant as i do. he's kinda one of those people who gets
overlooked because he is so well-known, if you know what i
mean.

death, though. simpson's had the best i've seen, so far.
hahahahaha classic.

The Raven was a bit of a dodgy film, the Pit and the
Pendulum I liked, though it's cheesily dated, but the Masque
of the Red Death is a great film. At least I think so, but I
like Vincent Price too. It's one of my top 20 films of all
time I'd say.

I am distantly related to him, which means I'll pull an
emily dickinson and turn into a crazy suicidal hermit
sometime when I'm about 25

Oh man The! Black! Cat! What a disturbing story. Skeleton
hands reach out of the page and pull you into a nightmare.

I also enjoyed Hop-Frog - also very disturbing.

Some of his humorous stuff can be fun too, like Diddling,
X-ing a Paragrab (now there's some dated humor for ya) and -
I forget the exact title - Words with a Mummy?

i am as sure as one can be. maybe it is translated as
"eleonora", but the original title is "lenore" which ties
into "the raven". kind of a "prequel" of sorts.
