I know, that's the only reason I can think... If you're vain/insecure enough to care, surely putting your pick on there could only hurt your feelings if you got a lowish score? If you knew you were good looking, why would you bother doing it? I was tempted once when a (frankly unattractive) flatmate was giving us daily updates of his scores. It started to piss me off so I was tempted to put a pic up, get a higher score and then maybe he'd shut up. In the end I realised he was just insecure about his looks and doing that would probably inspire him to do something equally annoying in an attempt to "prove" how attractive he was. |
