over the message board, or IM, or just in general
non-verbal communication? i never know what some people are
saying or thinking. i cant tell if a person is mad at me, or
what is going on... i get very confused and paranoid by
this. maybe im just kinda insecure o whatever, but i feel
like people get mad really easily.

GODDAMNIT TIBBAR, I AM SO FUCKING PISSED OFF AT YOU RIGHT
NOW, I CAN'T EVEN THINK STRAIGHT.
no, actually, it's just because plastic people are hard to
read.

and i hope you're not talking about me
*dissolves again in hopeless paranoia*

i guess thats some of it, cuz ive been in conversation where
it got a little heated, and i would word things a certain
way, and people would just hit the roof and start telling me
i should be killed and stuff... weird. they kinda of imply
their own tone and volume, etc... to it.

ah, trois gymnopedies... its like an auditory bubblebath. so
rending and soothing at the same time. like a sad yet serene
memory. mmmmm.

if i only possesed half the talent of satie, i would surely
be a happy man.

dunno .. maybe u should take things so seriously. i find i
can generally sort of sense the mood - even in writing??
maybe not tho.

The lack of body knowledge..and vocal inflections...It is
only on MBs like this that we realise how much more than
just words go into making communication.

Also having a pair of eyes stare at me like that when I am
typing my posts in, makes nme feel doubly jittery...so I
make less sense than usual (which isn't much to speak of
anyways).

I think the language barriers control most
misunderstandings, after all, for alot of the members
here,english is their 2nd language.
Also, culture plays a role.
