am I the only human alive that prefers geogaddi to music has
the right to children?

um... as much as i like mhtrtc, i DO like geogaddi MUCH
better. more tight kinda structures, poppier in some ways...
LOVELY ambience and some great samples/concepts.

thank YOU sir, I feel much saner
I feel like geogaddi is much fresher and less mainstream
as much as I hesitate to use "mainstream" in context with
BoC

i think "generic" is a better word, in this instance.
mhtrtc, as good as it is, feels a bit stale in some ways
that geogaddi makes painfully aparent.

nothing wrong with popularity, as long as it doesnt change
you.

there are currently two people who feel like you do it
seems.

I prefer MHTRTC, personally. Both are killer albums though
:D

yeah, seriously! I wouldn't have initiated this topic if I
didn't think thatI was in a dramatic minority
generic is much more articulate and apt, thanks again

Funny...overall, I think that Geogaddi over the course of
its 20 odd tracks makes for more interesting listen than
MHARTC did.

thank god you're totally wrong.
that would have probably pushed me over the edge
incidentally, make note of the fact that I refuse to

interesting is exactly right. it fluctuates more and tends
to hold your interest, I feel. plus it's all things that
have never really been done before... as opposed to.. well,
you know

maxima EH

I don't feel like it has to do so much with their "age" as a
group as the intent of either album.. sense?

i'm inclined to answer In A Beautiful Place Out In The
Country... but as far as superior composition goes... i'd
side with Geogaddi.

i hate skits on geogaddi...that's why i like mhtrtc
more....but...but few songs on geogaddi....i don't know...in
the beautiful country is their best release overall

reason for liking mhtrtc more: i could afford it

geogaddi is just too damn expensive -> could not buy it ->
just have mp3s -> crap

offline evolume from seattle (United States) on 2003-06-05 02:35 [#00727660]

i think i like geogaddi better
the sounds feel richer/fuller.
it is also a much better album to get totally baked to.

I think they're both pretty boring. If I were stranded on an
island with only those albums, I'd listen to MHTRTC.

I haven't listened to either, and I think twoism is my fav
boc at the moment, BUT... I do think that overall Geogaddi
is just a better listen... MHTRTC may be a bit more
consistent then Geogaddi, but the best songs on Geogaddi are
better then the best on MHTRTC imo...

the whole of Geogaddi bores the tits off of me.

it has no emotional value to me, as MHTRTC hits me in the
stomach.

mhtrtc is seriously overrated imo. it has a few killer
tracks but a lot of boring stuff too, and i will not ever
forgive them for putting smokes quantity on it (that track
is too fuckin brilliant and belongs on twoism).

geogaddi works much better as a whole album for me and it
has a more direct atmosphere, whereas mhtrtc just seems like
a collection of songs that are too different every time.

i'm not really finding my way with words today, but i dont
care because care dont i today.

I prefer Geogaddi too, as J198 says, MHTRTC has some killer
tracks, but the album as a whole isn't as good as geogaddi
IMHO.

okay, but nothing great.

strange reason...
