ill be seeing/hearing them tomorrow
from what i've heard looks to be a really decent show, so i
have pretty high expectations

btw, im pretty pissed about missing queens of the stone age
last night-they were playing 500 metres from where i
live...and i heard today that it was a great show

yeah, i know...i hope they come again

i just got back from massive attack concert and it was
brilliant!

they played all my favourite ma songs:
karmacoma, unfinished sympathy (sounded great), risingson,
everywhen, antistar, hymn of the big wheel, teardrop,
inertia creeps, protection...

they really have a great musicians-all those songs sounded
just like they sound on albums, perhaps even better

horace andy is totally impressive
so is daddy g - i love his voice/singing (he did the Tricky
part in karmacoma + other songs he did on albums)
del naja was classy - not top singer but i like the way he
sings

and the venue was excellent! (bjork is having concert there
tomorrow)

its an old roman arena-amphitheatre -its round building so
the sound was excellent

(if i'll have the time i'll probably go see them again in
the simmilar arena, only a bit closer to where i live)

has anyone else been there?

Did they have this Matrix-style computer screen
background??? I saw them last Sunday @ Pinkpop in the
Netherlands an it really was awesome.

i have seen their show on tv and if i'm not mistakin they
had a screen with red led lights displaying bank stock codes
and dutch city names, and some rather trippy 3d patterns.
sweet stuff. the music sounded great too.

hmm...no bjork im afraid :)

but i saw her on this friday at sonar...actually quite
boring (i'll write a short review in sonar thread, but i
cant say anything that impressed me about her - i think its
just not my thing)

yeah we want DADDY G on next album!!!

polynomial-C...they have the same scene on each gig-the only
thing that varies is the selection of songs they're playing

RASCAL!!!

so is there a picture somewhere on the net of this place
??.......now you have me interested in seeing the
venue....it must be intimate (as i would imagine that would
be the best kind of venue to see Bjork!)

i'm happy you liked it ;) quality audio was good in Arena?
in Milan it wasn't good, imo.

check www.arena.it...the multimedia session has some photos
(mainly from the operas that are performed there)
when you get the chance to see something there, go for
it...i know i'll visit again

woofer - yeah sounded really good in here and i was sitting
infront of the speakers so probably that helped :)
the good thing was that there was no echo
