It's becasue we have all the tools infront of us and it's not played live so we don't ave to rehearse and shit to get it right and it's usually a one person thing, so you don't have to worry about coordinating your mates. etc. |

im into the hybrid of acoustic and electronic elements. i cnat stand seeing a dude on stage with just a laptop. to me, its like this: if youre gonna play out, find a way to adapt it for live show. you know what i mean? play a real bass, play the synth parts, play treated drums or something. |

tibbar - dude I don't mind laptop sets. It's just like DJing. I don't go to shows to stand and stare at the person playing, I go to dance. Hence - if someone's staniding behind a computer and you're getting bored, get off your ass and shake it. Fuck stanidng around, standing around is for boring people. |

yeah, but if im paying money to go see someone perform, they better perform. i can throw a cd on a system loud if a wanna dance. and i dont have to drive an hour or so to do it, either. they might as well toss their cd in and press play. |

that might seem narrow-minded, but i think its kind of a cop-out for every nerd with a laptop to do that. if only half of them would do some sort of PERFORMANCE aspect with it, then it wouldnt be so bad, but its liek i said... it just seems like a cop-out. |

its easy to build a playlist a lot harder to tweak and play synths live i always fsk up the midi leads somewhere in a live set :D |
