anyone saw this film? i'll watch it later tonight...i hope
is as good as they say it is...

i saw soundtrack in a shop-anyone knows if that's worth
getting?
apperantly damon albarn had something to do with it, and gus
gus contributed as well i think

damon albarn and einar örn (ex-sugarcube member) did the
soundtrack. gus gus didn't have anything to do it far as i
know. i watched this film for the second time about 2 days
ago. It's pretty good

amazon reviews for Remote Control:

"Óskar Jónasson has created a comical masterpiece.
Remote control gets funnier every time I watch it and is
already a cult item in Iceland. I dare and double dare
everyone to see it, at least three times!"

"When I was living in Iceland, I watched this movie all
the time! It is the best Icelandic movie I have ever seen!
"

just saw 101 - excellent movie, i havent had a laugh like
this in a long time...and i thought my life's complicated
:)

full of hilarious monologues and dialogues...
i like the one where hlynur is asking himself of what will
baby be like with him being his father living with him as
his brother, his mom being babys father and his moms lover
being babys mother - pretty complicated hehehe, but when you
see it you get the picture...
i'll definitely be getting this film!

i laughed so hard at the scene where he took his mother's
lover out to get drunk and hlynur's x-girlfriend asked who
he was with

the conversation went something like this:

"who is she?"

"oh, uhm she's just a...friend of my mother"

"a friend of your mother? You took your friend's mother out
to get drunk? What the hell is a matter with you!??"

hehehe :D

hehehe, plenty of brilliant scenes
and that guy was perfect for this role

another good one...

hlynur asking lola:
"who's better, me or my mom...in bed i mean"

i have to visit iceland someday!

does reykjavik look much alike in this movie? or were all
the outdoor scenes shot on the most unusual places?

it's been said that this movie has a kind of international
feel to it. the scenes are mostly shot in the midtown, so
it's not really a good overview of the whole reykjavík i
think

yeah, that spanish actress (i think her name is victoria
abril) is pretty good-i like her a lot from almodovar's
films...actually the whole film has a very almodovarish
touch to it
internatioanl feel to it?-perhaps of the flamengo and some
english language...

i bought soundtrack yesterday and i really like it
very nice chilled music, some house beats, some noise stuff
(almost merzbow like only this ones have beats), and some
piano-electronica combo

one of my favourite soundtracks for sure
