Downloading it now.

Father Clem music can be found here, but don't feel
pressured :)

Just listened to it, I like the sound effects, and the way
the song seems to build up to some sort of a climax, which
never arrives.

If done correctly, i always enjoy that sort of stuff.

okay, i listened to your track "Flicker" and it is nice and
video game-y sounding. i like the synth melodies, the drums
are good but could use some work when compared to the rest
of instruments.

I dont know what to say, you definately have this abstract
style like I've never heard - especially in the intro. Nice
melodies and atmosphere. It lacks a climax and resolution
though.

Have you heard Lexaunculpts new album? I think you'd like
it, now heres some of my shit.

thank you for the comments. i agree about the lack of climax
and resolution. it was intentional.. the track is really
about disappointment and frustration, which would really
have no resolution in the end, so it kind of fits.

i haven't heard lexaunculpts music before, i'll have to
check it out.

and as for your track, attaching mechanical limbs, i'm about
to listen to it.. the download is at 80% on my shitty dialup
modem, but somebody has to use the phone right now so i have
to disconnect. i promise i'll tell you what i think of it
later though, once i get it all downloaded.
thanks for listening everyone.

i believe this to be your finest work to date (and looking
through my stuff i'm pretty sure that i have nearly all of
it. hehe). definitely sounds like you've put a lot into it
as well. not terribly loopy or anything. chaotic.

excellent excellent. reminds me that i should be fiddling
with some ideas and such as well. hehe. anyways...there you
go. hope it was...helpful...or...something. hah.

i've only listened to 'the passifist' thus far. i think i
need to hear some of your other stuff before i can really
"pass judgement", however. so far it sounds neat and
polished (which is always a good thing, right?)...just not
my style, i don't think.

heh. mr. q4z2x was dead on in describing your music as
"video game-y sounding". flicker reminded me of something,
and i'm killing myself trying to figure out what it is, now.
grah!

treesitters is probably my favorite bit out of the bunch
i've listened to so far. seems light and airy. good for
driving on a hot, summer day. =]

okay i've listened to it now, and i like what i'm hearing.
the very beginning sounds like the music of some intense
part of a movie where the killer is lurking in some bushes
or something.. i like the rest of the track also, but i
think you could have incorporated the wave crashing/white
noise and other sounds throughout the whole track and not
just at the beginning and very end. i like how the music
kind of self destructs towards the end, going back to the
wave/static sound. overall it's a nice track, it's kind of
video gamey as well, which is allways a good thing in my
book. i think your tracks are progressing, you're doin some
good work, thanks you for listening to my track.

thank you for listening. i glad you appreciate it, as i have
spent a lot of time on this track, probably the most out of
all of them.
i hope you are inspired to create more music. i liked your
"ksh" song, or whatever it was called.. so keep it up.

hey marlowe, you should tell me that url for your tracks...

and you should let me use my remix of your song "a circle is
triangle" on my album.. it fits so perfectly after this
"gluoinellityness" track...dammn

Why thanks for listening man :)

I usually love to make minimalistic music - for some reason
that's what appeals to me the most. I also make somwhat
poppy songs, not very heavy. I'm glad you at least like some
of it. Or so I assume :)

on 2nd/3rd listen, i really, really like your
track..
i think there is a place for good music like yours that
isn't so dark, and that doesn't take itself more seriously
than it needs too.

okay i downloaded your track "white painted black".. i
really like how nice, happy and lighthearted the music
appears, but then seems kind of disturbing when combined
with the sample going on in the background. i really like
how it gives the song a completely different feeling than if
it had not been there. there's some nice melodies going on
there too..
nice work.

Q4Z2X:

gluoinellityness is a cool interesting tune, I like the
chaos and anti-minimalism of it all, the crazy sounds coming
and going, esp the intro. However, I was waiting for a fat
beat to drop that never came. If you put a good tough kick
and snare in at about 1:00 or so it would be a hit.

thanks much for listening.
i'm glad you like it..
i was considering doing what you said to do, but i was
trying to get away from the more "beat-oriented" stuff...
but now that i think about it, it would make sense/fit..
i may have to do some retooling to this song...
thank you for the comments

my pleasure, I like beats so that's just my prejudice,
however, if you want to get away from beat oriented you
should take out the high hat loop that comes in because that
just suggests that there's a real beat coming.

also, I just checked your website, really liked some of the
stuff I heard. Esp. a circular room. I really like the
complexity of texture you're getting, all the background
noise and shit, very hot. Anyone reading, check QZ42X's
profile and his website from there.

my only critique, upon short reflection is that you need to
make longer songs. These are hot ideas you have here and
you need to develop them more. If you can't, cuz I know,
it's hard, then you should just loop up what you have and do
some more edits and breakdowns IE: like what you do at 1:00
into circular room.

thank you for the kind words.
i totally agree with what you are saying, about the song
length and whatnot.
it's just that for my first album, i kind of wanted to try
having a large quantity of tracks that fit together almost
seamlessly into one large sort of song...as apposed to,
having fewer longer songs on your album..which i am a
fan of when the songs are able to keep your attention
throughout the whole length, but since i wasn't as developed
at making electronic music when i started making some of
these first songs that will still be included on the album,
i preferred having some of them short.. guess it's kind of
my weakness/style.. but i'm getting better at it....my
tracks are usually at least a few minutes long now..
thanks for listening.
