there's a bunch of excellent musicians on this label (at
least the ones i've heard music from)
there isnt much talk about musicians from this label, so im
not sure whether people know for this label at all (i think
its pretty big - like leaf or something) anyway lots of
great electronica there - you can find full sample mp3s (in
good quality) and another thing it is VERY CHEAP if you
order directly from them

i've just ordered this:

Shalabi Effect The Trial of St-Orange
David Kristian Beneath the Valley of..
Tim Hecker My Love is Rotten to .. Polmo Polpo
The Science of Breath
Tomas Jirku Variants
Mitchell Akiy.. Hope that lines don't..
Merzbow Aqua Necromancer Tomas Jirku
Immaterial

this are the ones i like the best...but there is something
for everyone

(btw, i noticed/discovered the label after getting tim
hecher's haunt me which is EXCELLENT)

yes! alien8 is incredible, one of my favorite labels for
sure.

tim hecker's new disc Radio Amour is out now on Mille
Plateaux(also a good label) if you weren't aware of that
one. I haven't actually heard the new one yet but ive heard
very good things about it...the 1st disc haunt me was
awesome.

if you like tim hecker check out Fennesz and Phillip Jeck
too. Jeck is on Touch records and fennesz new disc Venice
will be out in september(sorry if you alreayd know all this,
just making sure) :)

cant wait to get radio amour (i hope it arrives by the end
of the week)

phillip jeck is an excellent choice (i think i have 3 of his
albums)
i only have "field recordings 1995-2002" by fennesz tho, but
i like it a lot
a bit alike all of this is also scanner - actually my
favourite of all of this artists (except for maybe tim
hecker)

i agree for mille plateaux - lots of excellent stuff there

it's good to specify when talking about heckers:
tim hecker: ambient glitch
maximillian hecker: electro-pop
hecker: skull-crushing noise

mitchell akiyama is fucking spectacular.

with his latest material

I just picked up Tim Hecker's haunt me haunt me... wow it's
gorgeous. His work as Jetone is also very nice - listening
to the Ultramarin album right now, more of a microhouse
thing than his ambient work under his own name.

Mitchell Akiyama and Tomas Jirku are also on my buy list.

yeh haunt me haunt me is incredible - lush swirling twirling
blankets of velvety sound - I love the song titles like The
Work of Art in the Age of Cultural Overproduction, Ghost
Writing, October and City in Flames... I'm going to be
listening to this one a lot this fall.
