sounds great. =]

almost inspires me to finish mine. it'd be done, but
the "ambsace suck factor" just kept getting in the way. too
big an obstacle. now i'm focusing on teapot's new
compilation. eh. we'll see what happens.

I've found that if you increase the value of x while
decreasing the value of y in the second and fourth
quadrants, or decrease the value of x while increasing the
value of y in the first and third quadrants, you can keep
the ambsace suck factor to a minimum. Thanks for your little
black symbol letter things. And good luck on your crazy
adventures. Not that luck exists.

It sounds like a nerd has gone up his own arse programming
things at a 32 quantize.

That sounds like one of the most awesome reviews I've ever
gotten! Unless 32 quantize means something negative. I don't
know what 32 quantize is though.

For nerds up their own arse, I highly recommend the remix
sample called "ill shit" that telefon tel aviv provided
(play it simultaneously with "beat 1" and it's damn
wicked... I wish the whole album was like this, but they go
and include stuff like the files "bass 1,2" and "rhodes" and
worse, "maracas"... but titsworth likes that stuff.

Some pretty nice tunes there wMw - if they had some more
melodic content I'd be completely satisfied...
Great soundquality on most of the tracks - good production.
Hope you keep on working and evolving.

joakimlinden- glad you like them more than titsworth, not
that the opinion of someone who's favorite artist is mos def
means much to me :j. Including melody in these type of
tracks has been difficult mostly because you'll almost
definately end up crossing notes together simultaneously
that don't sound good together unintentionally. There is a
barrier that if I crossed, I could make the same structure
be equally complex but also change melody, but it would take
so many large wav files and be so tedious that it would be
impractical (In the track "4 rooms 4 walls remix" I altered
between 2 notes at least (c and g) but since the sounds were
percussiony it's not noticed very much (but if you hear the
original without the note switching you can tell). There's
this program called "the amazing slow downer" which can
decrease/increase pitch (by note units) without
increasing/decreasing tempo... however it alters the quality
of the sound in a bad way. You should hear the track
"boombonic plague" by otto von schirach. I think my tracks
are entertaining because they are fast and complicatedly
organized, but the quality of the sound sucks compared to
otto or that "ill shit" sample by telefon etc.

xigoo- if you are still wandering around scratching your
head and are completely baffled by the elusiveness of the
link, I indeed posted it in my initial messulge. :j

sardist- I was thinking that the idea of remixing could be
improved. Instead of just giving someone samples to work
with basically, you could give a general process, explained
step by step simply, and others could innovate if they want
or just try it to see what new stuff they can come up with.
I could probably describe the process I use to you, since
you seem to like the results. It's not that hard if you
follow the directions. You need modplug tracker. Also I
tried listening to your tracks but they didn't work and now
I'm on dial up so they won't work.

It doesn't say. I emailed them my link but didn't get a
response yet... if ever. You can try signing up to the ninja
tune messageboard (there's a link to it from the initial
messages link) I tried this but was unable to because you
have to get a stupid password email which I never got.
