Sometimes in my dreams i have this speach problem.
I start to studder and apologize for it "im sorry , this
happens sometimes , it will go away in a minut"

I hear this happens when you talk in your sleep.

Another reoccurring element is that i have sex with people i
wouldn't even consider in real life.

Basicly my dreams suck!!
My friends often dream cool shit like their flying and
stuff. Why can't i ever do that =(

i am a lucid dreamer so i have pretty great dreams =)
the most reoccurring element must be my teeth, and this
really wicked version of my city.

dunno... elements of real life happen a lot, i dreamt of
this board many times.

some places also are reccurent... a lost house in a field, a
dark shiny city where it's always nighttime but a nice
place...

i don't remember dreaming of having sex with people i know
in real life!! (but once i dreamed i was a girl making love
with a giant spider, who turned into another girl at the
end, it was quite pleasant)

mostly reading things (while not really reading them), it's
more like a feeling... only concrete fact i dreamed of
involving this board was recycle getting arrested by the
police for something (don't remember what).

Right now it's death. I've been having a lot of dreams of
death for the last month. Almost everynight and I remember
them soo vividly. People dying, or me as someone dieing..
but I always survive... it's really weird.

apparently the trick is to be conscious that you are
dreaming, as you experience dreams

and this allows you do 'control' or actively participate in
dreams.. and confront things!

either way its a discipline and something i havent tried.

its not really a discipline at all, its just about to know
when to do what so to speak. binny t taught me to do it
really well with 2 alarm clocks set differently.

Hehe, there's special version of Bristol which I nickname
"the city of two hills" that must of cropped up at least a
dozen times in my dreams. It's a lot more hilly and all the
architecture in it is old, rather than just in some bits.
There are also never ever any cars in it, despite there
being roads.

Falling and flying. Like I can barely control gravity.
Usually I try to fly forward but end up getting higher. Then
I get afraid and start to fall slowly. I even feel my center
of gravity shift in my dreams.

Yes, I've also had those. I usually get shot in the head in
my death dreams and I'm like 'Oh shit I'm dead!'. Then I
wake up.

Gigantic tidal waves that twist into a vortex blocking out
the sun. Then, being farther inland while the riptide that's
now in a forest is pulling me under.

Had that one since I was three.

Lots of dreams about the Desert (or . . um . . dessert. . .
whichever one is dry and sandy) ever since I went to Egypt.

I've had at least one dream in which I died but was still
dreaming afterwards. And I met Satan in my dreams once and
he told me: "at all points in time, I'm watching you."

Japanese girls -

First one was wierd - I was in my old house, and at some
point I hear my own voice coming from another room - I am
freaked out by this and don't want to know what's going on,
so I don't go in the other room - But out walks this cute
japanese girl...?

2nd - Reminded me of The Ring, or something - Was in my
bedroom - Had some wierd haunted book on the bookshelf with
a japense woman with big stareing eyes on the cover - I kept
thinking I was waking up, then I'd find myself getting
dragged off my bed by an invisible force.

3rd - Just the other night - Was with this pretty hot
japanese girl in a Judo outfit - And we were trying to find
a good place to have a fight - Tryed the bath, the bed, the
garden, etc... then I woke up without ever actually getting
down to it...

Wierd! Definetly not your usual random nonsense - I felt
these dreams were all really significant and I remember them
all really clearly.

Schools -

Almost every dream I have I'm in some kind of school/college
type thing - No doubt because I have absolutely no structure
or rules in my life - Don't work a regular job anymore or do
anything I don't feel like - So the school is definetly
giving me a regular dose of conformity.

there are often members of my family in my dreams... my
brother, my father, my mother -i wish they wouldn't be so
present there, not that i hate them but i'd like to see more
unknown people instead!

there are some recurrent places in my dreams too, which do
not exist in real life or do exist but not in this shape...
well, they're derived from things in real life... but
sometimes the same derivated version re-appears in different
dreams...

also there is this weird feeling, which happens more when
i'm about to fall sleep than when i'm dreaming -
something/everything appearing huge and tiny at the same
time, and like pulsating AND without changing..; i don't
think i can explain that much but it's a bit freaky and
pretty cool

since i take the train & tramway everyday or almost to go to
university, i often have the impression i'm travelling like
in a train, just before i fall asleep... and it's often that
i'm even surprised when i realize i'm not moving and that
i'm in my bed... (and when i wake up sometimes i'm
surprised to be in my bed too and reality doesn't seem any
more real than other possible worlds i've dreamt, like "eh?
i'm in my bed in my room? strange... well ok, i suppose i'll
deal with this strange situation")

this has always been an extremely concerning topic for
myself, as 9 out of 10 dreams i have are actually
nightmares... some recent things :

blades / razors ; in a dream the other night a giant blade
came from above, hit me on the top of the head and sliced my
face off... i was watching this happen to myself, like i was
not playing the part of me in this dream... i have lots of
other dreams to do with sharp objects, usually cutting off a
limb or something, in a few extreme dreams ive woken up
because i got decapitated.

glass ; usually im encased in it... eg a glass room with
nothing in it, and i cant get out. on occasion ive eaten
glass, wine glasses etc...

trains ; always have dreams where i miss trains

rain ; its always raining outside in my dreams

cigarettes ; im not a smoker, never have been, but when im
in dreams, i do smoke, and i squint my eyes when i drag,
exactly like my mother does.

are you people able to hear sounds when you are almost
asleep? sometimes i can kind of make myself hear things,
such as a track or someone's voice, but sometimes it is
completely random, could be the audio of a tv show or
something i saw that day. freaky.

Like I said in the other topic, nuclear war. I ALWAYS have
these normal, mundane dreams, and then, BOOM, there's a
mushroom cloud in the background and everybody is either
running for their lives, or being turned into ash. I'm
getting quite sick of it. I could be in the middle of a very
inspired dream involving multiple girls, and then the sky
will flash and things will spiral into chaos.

Same here, I don't smoke IRL, but I very often do in my
dreams. In one I took the cigarette out of my mouth and said
out loud (in the dream), "Why am I smoking?"

I often get little snippets of conversations between two
people (neither of whom's voices I recognise). Just a few
words and they're seldom related to what the other is
saying, like, 1: "...and they brought apples..."
2: "We're nearly there now..."

It's like flicking a radio dial about or walking down a busy
street, just catching little things people say. I'm rarely
fully concious of it, when I am, I tend to wake up too much
from "listening" to it too intently. It's always there
though, just as I'm going off to sleep.
