i'm not a fan yet, i have a few tracks... but i love the
long live sequenece i've got (live isdn 1996 - i just
recognize we have explosive in it ^^)... and The Isness
which i like very much too but it's very very different i
know : )

MrDwatt > erm : /
is there any particular reason why you don't like it?

FSOL are without a doubt my favourite artists of all
time...........I'm not to keen on Accelerator (apart from
the obvious), their new stuff (the Isness etc) has lost the
magic for me but I like bits'n'pieces. ISDN is excellent,
Dead cities comes a close second to the mind blowing
Lifeforms.....their stuff never fails to sweep me away on a
cerebral journey beyond that of any drug, better than
sex?....maybe;p I couldn't even begin to explain the effect
their stuff has on me.......

uzim:
cos, the rythms feel ugly and the melodys patetical. And the
sounds are not whery special either, and as a whole it´s
very boring! But some tracks ar nice, but they get lost in
all the imo bad stuff!
But I will try that album over and over again even if it
don´t give me anything. It´s not like ae or afx, it won´t
grow on me...

Dead Cities is a really great album. My fave FSOL
release...I really really hated Issness though.

Accelerator's cool, but very dated.
Tales Of Ephidrina is excellent, a mixture of Accelerator's
beats and Lifeforms' ambience.
Lifeforms is my alltime favourite album.
ISDN is great, but very hard to get into.
Dead Cities is fucking genius.
The Isness is my second favourite FSOL/AA album. So
different, but so great.

All of their singles/EPs are fantastic too. Currently loving
the Mello Hippo EP.

They have two albums, and EP and and DVD planned for the
next year or so...it's all getting excited.

They're doing their first live show - ever - in Russia in
July. I really fucking want to be there. ARGH.

Anyway yes. I'm more than a FSOL fan. I'm a complete and
utter obsessive.

Shameless plug for my FSOL site

They've put out so much shit over the last decade or so,
it's almost too much. A tidal wave of releases. I don't know
where to start
