Smojphace tracklist

...as stated on watmm.com...

Smojphace is a 3 track EP featuring a remix of The Bug's
"Run The Place Red" and two original AFX tracks, with early
reports of them being described as "noise" tracks (See work
by Merzbow or Satanstornade as examples of noise music.).

i can`t wait to hear this massive wall of sound.

I like noise. Merzbow is ok, but Like really cool fluttering
noise in patterns and stuff is cool.

If you can get a copy of Einstuerzende Neubautens 2x4 your
all set. Kollaps is really good too.

i've hated noise ever since i saw a local artist 'k-dio'
playing through a guitar amp with the mid on full and
playing at an ear bleedingly high level that left my ears
ringing for 2 days afterwards.. and to make it worse he
displayed extreme hardcore porn with people cutting
themselves and such on the projector screen above him..
also he looked really involved, he had all this awesome
equipment but most of the sound was just white noise through
filters.. no nice textures either..
what am i on about? i dont know..

whoa where was that?

not those "art" noise guitar faggots who played after us
(well you, to be mroe accurate) @ gilksons?

or the cunts at the hyde pk hotel...?

some of the videos there were really awful...

the suicide girls and sluts and shit

Noise? so afx is now a trend follower instead of a
trendsetter? pity, i say.

he's never been a trendsetter - he's taken things to
extreme, that's all, or put new twists on them.

Confusion reigns over the direction of the originals,
whereas early reports stated that they would follow a
"noise" direction they have recently been described as
"melodic, percussive". Only time, and a definitive release
date, will allow us to know for sure. Jarworski, XLT news.

fair enough. still, this whole noise thing would be fairly
redundant. wonder what directions he's takingit, then. stop
looking at me, btw, if that really is you. it's scaring mey
:)

bla bla bla, he was doing noise music 15-15 years ago, it's
just his taste is again in it, he's probably excited at the
new direction noise is taking, but saying he's going
backwards is not true he just does what he likes when he
likes...

i made a really fun noise track in just over 10 minutes.. i
listen to it a lot

'paula damon'

i like to keep my noise tracks short.. they range from 1 to
90 seconds generally.. anything after that would bore me

I don't know if noise is music - not to say that it's good
or bad, but just not very musical.
